iPhone ... cannot be synced (error 13014)
The iPhone ... cannot be synced.
An unknown error occurred (13014).
This occurred after the iTunes 8.01 (11) update. Restarting the Mac seems to cure it.

My iphone had this error and I discovered it was either Spybot search & destroy or Lavasoft Adaware causing the issue. I just had to turn that software off when I sync. Virus scan programs can also cause this issue.
